    About:

    With 2 Instructors, Adam & Tamsin, Original Kbox classes are a combination of kickboxing and boxing skills incorporating class full of energy, fun and sweat.  A combination of exercises are used that incorporate kickboxing skills such as bag and pad work with traditional kickboxing exercises.

    As a result of years of collaboration with other skilled fighters and trainers, the classes are unlike any other!  -suitable for any fitness level and gender.  A typical class will start with a 10-minute warm-up, followed by 40 min of kick boxing and finishing with a 10-minute cool down and stretch. A combination of exercises are used that incorporate  kick boxing skills such as bag and pad work with traditional kick boxing exercises.

      There are many reasons to train and I can guarantee that we have all used many reasons as to why we can not. We may not have the time, work might get in the way, we may get sick or injured, family issues may arise or we simply cannot be bothered. But the key is to keep trying, no matter how busy life gets we must make the time.

      We may not look the way we want to or the way we once did. We may not be able to exercise like a professional athlete, a personal trainer or someone who has an abundance of free time.

      The reasons we do it is not just to look good, but for our health, our family, the family we may one day have, our present and our future. We train to feel good about ourselves, to relieve stress and prolong our lives. We do it because we can, we do it because we must.

      At times it may be hard and we may hate every second of it. You just need to remember it is only a moment in time.

      Above all remember that what we do to ourselves now, affects our lives in years to come.

    Self Defence and ICS
    Close quarter combat is a modern and realistic self defence. It is a blend of many different martial arts, military and police tactics. It was originally developed for the military to fight enemy soldiers. This was implemented because the military needed an effective form of street defence.

    CQC will help you efficiently use defence against a violent street attack on either yourself, a friend or family member. You will learn to use your body as a weapon. This includes strike, kicks, takedowns, joint locks, weapon defence, ground fighting and more! You will have the ability and confidence to protect yourself and loved ones.

    Challenge yourself against the clock
    Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.
