Josh’s extensive journey as a trainer started early, when he began training full time as a professional beach volleyball player at age 16. After intensive and often brutal training schedules, Josh began researching and incorporating good nutrition into his diet and yoga into his training, in order to keep achieveing higher personal goals. Upon winning multiple AAA beach volleyball state tournaments and a Jujitsu state championship, Josh turned his attention towards his passion of full time personal training. From working nationally at various gyms with other renowned trainers, Josh now co-owns and operates Arena Fitness.
Josh incorporates high profile training schedules for elite athletes and goal setting for clients who just want that extra edge from the normal person. Focusing on correct posture, technique, strength training, body shaping, athletic performance and good nutrition, Josh’s aim is that the client will one day claim their training and become their own, personal trainer. In this way, training with Josh truly does become personal.
Josh specialises in total body transformations including everything from lifestyle, nutrition to body toning and shaping, strength training and posture and stretching and mental conditioning, and coaching.

Paul is active with bodybuilding and martial arts and is now specialising in kickboxing. Paul provides both personal training and classes that are specifically designed to integrate cardio, strength training, body sculpting and martial arts skills for all levels of fitness
Paul high expectations of his clients and believes that they can achieve whatever they put their minds to. He provides high levels of motivation and tailors each program to fit each person’s needs. His aim is to ensure that clients enjoy a fun workout that adheres to their mental and physical goals based around their lifestyle.

Why we train:
There are many reasons to train and I can guarantee that we have all used many reasons as to why we can not. We may not have the time, work might get in the way, we may get sick or injured, family issues may arise or we simply cannot be bothered. But the key is to keep trying, no matter how busy life gets we must make the time.
We may not look the way we want to or the way we once did. We may not be able to exercise like a professional athlete, a personal trainer or someone who has an abundance of free time.
The reasons we do it is not just to look good, but for our health, our family, the family we may one day have, our present and our future. We train to feel good about ourselves, to relieve stress and prolong our lives. We do it because we can, we do it because we must.
At times it may be hard and we may hate every second of it. You just need to remember it is only a moment in time.
Above all remember that what we do to ourselves now, affects our lives in years to come.

Brett is a highly motivated trainer and dedicated to delivering some tough love to help his clients achieve their ultimate goal. He is a technical boxing trainer and has held an Australian title in Judo.
While highly experienced in group/class fitness he brings a high level of energy and care to each individual’s needs. Brett has a current Diploma of Fitness and currently lectures at the Australian Fitness Academy (AFA). He is experienced in training special needs adults and children with extensive knowledge of Boxing, Weight loss, Nutrition, Group/Class training, Strength and Conditioning and CrossFit, Kettlebells and all Round hard work.
Helen’s love of fitness helps her specialize in helping people create their ideal look from head to toe. One of her specialties includes helping people to be able to run marathons and compete to their highest potential.

Peter Sciarra is the ICS Head Instructor,he holds a level 11 Black Belt and is currently Australia’s highest ranked Close Quarter Combat instructor. He regularly teachers interstate and overseas and is one of Australia’s leading combat instructors. Hock Hochhiem, Peter’s main mentor in the U.S considers him one of his best and most skilled instructors and is part of Hock’s elite Black Belt instructors. He has made multiple trips to the U.S.A to train with some of the best Close Quarter Combat instructors in the world. Peter has also had over 20 years of martial arts experience, holds Black Belts in other systems and was the first Australian ever to be invited to teach combat at the UFC gym in California.
Peter began his training at the age of thirteen in the arts of Wing Chun, jujustu and kickboxing and received his first Black belt at 16 years old. At the age of 19 Peter began work in the security industry as a night club bouncer in some of Melbourne roughest nightclubs and bars, at this time Peter quickly found out what worked and what did not in the real world. Peter also trains members of the Victoria Police, Australian military ,security personal and civilians.
